- Acted for a contracting company awarded a tender for construction of 300 housing units. The government organisation failed to perform its contractual obligations, resulting in termination of the contract. The dispute was referred to arbitration to determine financial claims.
- Acted for a contractor in a joint venture in Omani court proceedings relating to the nullification of an ICC arbitration award under Article 53 of the Oman Arbitration Law in enforcement proceedings filed by a major subcontractor in respect of an airport.
- Acted for a contractor in an arbitration relating to disputes on an expressway project against a government department.
- Advised and represented a holding company in emergency arbitration before the Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre regarding protection from liquidation of a performance bond.
- Currently advising a private client against a government organisation regarding exploration and production where the client seeks to recover invested funds.
- Currently advising a group of companies regarding illegal termination of agreements concerning mineral rights, assessing whether to proceed to arbitration.
- Acting for a commodities company in Pakistan against an oil/gas body, advising on arbitration under Pakistani law and ad hoc rules. The dispute involves termination of a commercial supply contract and encashment of a guarantee following EU sanctions.
- Advised an oilfield company on various disputes concerning supply timing in an offshore oil block.
